How your AI twin works.
When you join as a model, you join free. We build an AI twin of you from your photos. Your twin looks like you, and it carries your name and your page here on the site.
When a student comes in through you, they see your twin's picture on the screen the whole time they go through the school, lesson by lesson. Your twin walks them through everything in plain words and answers their questions day and night.
You do not teach, and you do not run anything. Brian runs the school and controls the twins. Your job is to share. Your twin does the teaching, and when students join through you, you get paid.

Mainnet Checklist, part 1: setup your wallet

Download the "Pi Network" app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Check that it is the official app from the Pi Core Team before installing.
Sign up with your phone number or Facebook and follow the setup screens.
Enter an invite code if you want one. Pi grows person-to-person, so the app asks who invited you — you can use Brian's code brianman, or any code you like. It is your choice.
Tap the ⚡ button once a day to keep mining. That is the whole job — mining costs nothing.

Open the Mainnet Checklist inside the official Pi app. Brian’s school guides you through each item and checks that you understand it. Never give Brian, QT Pi or anyone else your wallet passphrase or account password.

The steps
In Pi Browser, tap Explore and look at the Mainnet apps list first.
Check every app’s label before opening: Mainnet means real Pi can move.
Read what the app does in one plain sentence. If you can’t say what it does, don’t connect your wallet to it.
When an app asks permission, give only what it needs. Your passphrase is never one of those things — no real app asks for it.
You set this wallet up in Lesson 1. Now learn every screen in it: your total balance, your available balance, your lockups, and your history — and why those numbers are not the same number.

Mainnet wallet vs Test wallet (same app, two pockets — test Pi is practice money and can never be spent for real), what “available balance” really means, and how to read a transaction in your history.
The steps
Open Pi Browser and tap Wallet. Unlock it with your passphrase or fingerprint.
Check the top label: Pi Mainnet means real. Switch it once to Testnet so you can see the difference, then switch back.
Read your total balance and your available balance side by side. The gap between them is your lockups and stakes — Lesson 8 explains them.
Tap History and open your migration entry. That is your Pi arriving on Mainnet.
This is the moment your Pi becomes money you can use: sending it to another Pioneer, wallet to wallet, on Mainnet. Take it slow the first time — the steps are simple, and there is no undo button.

How a transfer works: the other person’s wallet address, the small network fee (0.01 Pi), and why you always practice on Testnet first and test small on Mainnet before sending anything big.
The steps
Practice first: in the Wallet, switch to Testnet and send test Pi to a friend. Same steps, practice money, zero risk.
On Mainnet, tap Pay, then scan the other person’s QR code or paste their wallet address.
Check the address character by character — first 4 and last 4 at minimum. A wrong address means the Pi is gone for good.
Enter the amount, check the fee, and confirm only when everything reads right.
Watch it land in History. That entry is your receipt.
The other direction: somebody paying you. If you run a business, a side hustle, or you just sold something — this is how Pi lands in your wallet, and how you prove it arrived.

How to show your wallet address and QR code, how a customer pays you from their wallet, and how to confirm the payment before you hand anything over.
The steps
In the Wallet, find your address and QR code — that is all a customer ever needs. Never your passphrase.
Agree the amount in Pi first, then have them send it (they use the steps in Lesson 4).
Wait and watch your History. The payment shows there when it lands — that is your confirmation, not a screenshot they show you.
Screenshots can be faked. Your own History screen cannot. No History entry, no deal.
Fireside is Pi’s own social app — posts, discussions, and Pi tips, built to reward real talk instead of spam. If you want the community’s pulse, this is where it beats.

The steps
Open Fireside in Pi Browser and sign in with your Pi account.
Follow a few topics you actually care about — Pi news, your country, your interests.
Read first. Then post one real thought — a question, an answer, your experience.
Never buy, sell, or trade in DMs with strangers from Fireside. That is where the scams live.
Pi Chat is the community’s chat room — rooms by topic and language, plus direct messages. It is the fastest way to ask the community a question, and the easiest place to meet a scammer if you are not careful.

How the rooms work, how moderators keep them clean, and the hard rules of DMs: who will never message you first (the Core Team), and what a real request looks like vs a trap.
The steps
Open Chat in Pi Browser and join your language’s main room.
Ask your question in the open room first — public answers keep everybody honest.
If somebody DMs you offering to “help” with your wallet, KYC, or migration for a fee — that is a scam. Block and report.
Your passphrase does not exist in chat. Nobody legit will ever ask for it, anywhere, for any reason.
Why can a wallet show 105 Pi but only 0.59 you can spend? Lockups. Part of your Pi is put away on purpose — and in Pi, locking up is not a punishment. It is a strategy.

How migration lockups work (the lockup you chose on the checklist), how locking more, for longer, raises your mining rate — and app staking, where you lock Pi inside an app to support it and earn rewards.
The steps
In the Wallet, tap Lockups and read yours: how much is locked, and until when.
Remember the deal from Lesson 1: a bigger lockup percent and a longer time both raise your mining rate.
You cannot unlock early. Locked is locked until the date shown — plan your spending around your available balance only.
App staking lives inside each app (look for “Stake” in the Wallet and in apps). Stake only in apps you understand, and only Pi you can afford to leave sitting.
Pi was never meant to sit in a wallet forever. Businesses around the world already take it — Map of Pi shows you where, and events like PiFest are when the whole community goes shopping at once.

Open Map of Pi and search your town. No results yet? Check the nearest city.
Before you buy, agree with the seller: the item, the Pi amount, and who confirms in History.

For KYC: open the KYC app in Pi Browser and check for a request for another check or a correction. Many “stuck” accounts are just waiting on the owner.

Anybody in chat, Telegram, or Facebook offering to unstick your KYC for Pi or dollars is a scammer. Every time.
The more Pi you have migrated, the bigger a target you are. These scams are aimed at experienced Pioneers — people exactly like you — and they sound official. Learn their faces.

The traps
“Unlock your Pi early”: a site or person claims they can release your lockup for a fee or your passphrase. Nobody can unlock a lockup early — not the Core Team, not anybody.
Fake airdrops: “Pi is airdropping — connect your wallet to claim.” Connecting signs your Pi away. Real Pi news only appears inside the Pi app.
Fake Pi trading: strangers offering to buy your Pi above “the price,” or sell you “IOU Pi.” Off-app Pi trading is how wallets get emptied.
Fake support: “Pi Support” accounts on social media asking you to verify your wallet. Pi support only exists in the Support Portal, and it never asks for your passphrase.

What is cryptocurrency?
Imagine money you can send to anyone in the world in seconds, with no bank in the middle. That's crypto. It lives on a shared digital record called a blockchain that thousands of computers check together, so no single company controls it.
Some coins are for spending, some power apps, some are just for fun. The honest part: prices move fast, and profit is never guaranteed.
What is Pi Network?
Pi is the coin you mine free on your phone by tapping once a day. No expensive computer, no electricity bill — that's why most of us start here. There's no money at risk because mining costs you nothing.
You'll need to finish KYC and migrate to Mainnet before your coins truly become yours. That's what Lessons 1 and 2 teach you, free.
What is a contract address?
Think of it as a token's fingerprint. Every token on a blockchain has one unique address, and it's the only way to be 100% sure you're looking at the real token and not a fake copy with the same name.
Before you buy any token, match its contract address against a verified source — like the Coin Guides in the full school. Tap the address there to copy it.
How do I know a coin is real and not a fake?
Scammers are lazy — they just copy the name and logo of a popular coin. The name means nothing. What matters is the contract address: paste it into a blockchain explorer and check that the name, symbol, and supply match the real project.
Rule of thumb: if someone sends you a coin link in a DM, don't touch it. Find the address yourself from a verified guide or the project's official page.
What's the difference between a coin and a token?
A coin has its own blockchain. A token rents a room on somebody else's. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Pi are coins — each runs its own network. Most meme coins are tokens living on Solana or Ethereum.
Why it matters: you pay network fees in the chain's coin (like SOL on Solana), no matter which token you're moving.
What is a crypto wallet?
Your wallet doesn't hold coins — it holds the keys that prove the coins are yours. A hot wallet is an app on your phone (easy, good for daily use). A cold wallet is a physical device kept offline (safest for larger amounts).
Your seed phrase — those 12 or 24 words — IS your wallet. Anyone who has it owns everything. Never type it into a website, never send it to anyone, ever.
What is gas?
Gas is the small fee the network charges to process your transaction. It pays the computers keeping the blockchain running. When lots of people are trading at once, gas goes up — so a $5 trade can cost $20 in fees on a busy network.
Tip: check the fee before you confirm. On Solana it's usually pennies; on Ethereum it can spike hard.
What does market cap mean?
Market cap is price × total coins — it tells you how big a project is. A coin at $0.01 with 10 billion coins ($100M cap) is "bigger" than a coin at $100 with 1,000 coins ($100K cap).
Bigger doesn't mean better, just bigger. Small caps can run fast — and fall fast. That's the honest truth.
What is liquidity?
Liquidity is how easily you can sell without crashing the price. Deep liquidity means your sell barely moves anything. Thin liquidity means even a small sell can tank the price — and you might not be able to sell at all.
Before buying any small coin, check its liquidity. Our meme scanner only lists coins with real, sellable liquidity for exactly this reason.
How do I avoid crypto scams?
Three rules that stop 99% of scams. One: no real project DMs you first — support never asks for your seed phrase. Two: "guaranteed profit" is always a lie. Three: verify every contract address yourself.
If it feels rushed — "buy now, last chance!" — walk away. Real opportunities don't need countdown timers.
What is KYC?
KYC means proving you're a real person with a real ID. Exchanges require it by law, and Pi Network requires it before your mined coins can migrate to Mainnet.
Only ever do KYC inside the official app or exchange. A random link asking for your ID is a scam, full stop.
What is a rug pull? What is a honeypot?
A rug pull is when the creators vanish with everyone's money. A honeypot is sneakier: you can buy the coin, but the code secretly blocks you from ever selling it.
Both are why you check before you buy — real liquidity, sellable code, verified address. Our scanner filters out honeypots automatically, so every pick it posts is actually sellable.
What is PiBridge (PiBase)?
PiBridge — the app calls itself PiBase — connects your Pi to other blockchains. It's a real project, but it is NOT the Pi Core Team, and it's not a scam either. Here's the simple version of what it does.
Inside the app you can "wrap" your Pi: your real Pi locks into their contract, and you get wPI on the BNB chain — 1 wPI for every 1 Pi. While it's wrapped, that wPI is really an IOU. You can use it in the app — Lucky Spin, staking, swaps — and when you unwrap, your native Pi comes back to the official Pi Wallet. It can only go back there.
The app also has its own token, VERRO, which you can mine free inside it. Lucky Spin costs 0.2 VERRO (or 0.02 USDT), and WRT are just points for the leaderboard. You can also take a loan against your Pi — treat it like a pawn shop: your Pi is the collateral, and if you don't pay the loan back, you lose it.
Stay safe: double-check you're in the real PiBase app (fakes copy the name and logo), never wrap more Pi than you'd be comfortable waiting to get back, and if the Pi price ever starts running, unwrap FIRST so your real Pi is home in your Pi Wallet.

ETH itself is a native coin, so it has no contract address. But the two most-used tokens on Ethereum do — match these exactly before you buy:
